Poorvi Agrawal is a Budding Scientist in the Machine learning & Statistics group within the Data Analytics Lab at Conduent Labs India. Her research interests lie in the domains of deep learning and time series modeling with the application in transportation, healthcare, crime analytics or in any other real life scenario. At Conduent Labs India, Poorvi has worked on ICU admission prediction and ICU mortality prediction projects. She is currently working on ¬-Back office optimization for tolling, Police business intelligence for crime prediction and Device failure prediction.
She received her Integrated BSc+MSc in Mathematics and Computing from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at The Johns Hopkins University as a research intern on the project - Development of a new programming language, Big bang with Dr. Scott Smith.
Her non-academic pursuits includes pencil sketching, playing Basketball, Badminton, Table tennis and a lot other games. She loves to trek and is always ready for adventure sports.
