Narayanan Unny Edakunni

Area Manager - Machine Learning & Statistics

Nara Unny is a Senior Research Scientist and Research Manager of the Machine Learning and Statistics area within the Data Analytics Lab at Conduent Labs India. His research interests lie in the domains of machine learning with special interest in probabilistic graphical models and ensemble learners. At Conduent Labs India, Nara has worked on projects that look at improving the efficiency of public transit systems using demand sensitive scheduling and pricing. He is interested in innovations that make sustainable transportation appealing to commuters. He uses data to facilitate such innovations.

Prior to joining Xerox in 2012, Nara had couple of postdoctoral stints at University of Manchester, UK and University of Bristol before that. He obtained his PhD from School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK
